Job Title: General Assembly

Location: Clarkston, MI

Pay Rate: $16.75/hr – increases to $17.25 after 6 months

Bonus Opportunities:

• $125 bonus after 124 hours works
• $250 bonus after 250 hours worked

Shift Time: Monday-Friday 2pm-10pm (must be able to work overtime)

Overtime Incentives:

• $15 bonus for working 6-day schedule without missing a day  

• $25 bonus for working 7-day schedule without missing a day  

Job Summary:

Performs repetitive workstation or line assembly operations to mass produce components or to assemble those components as instructed by performing the following duties:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

• Performs any assembly-type functions, using hand or power tools.
• Operates any equipment needed to perform job.
• Performs related duties as needed by supervision.
• Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
• Perform prescribed preventative maintenance on machines as required per P.M. charts.
• Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma
• At least 1 full year of manufacturing experience

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

• Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
• Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
